マグノリアs are flowering shrubs or trees, renowned for their magnificent large blooms in spring and summer. 12月iduous and evergreen magnolias grow best in fertile, well-drained soil that is slightly acidic, in full sun.

マグノリア x loebneri 「レナード・メッセル」 bears pale pink, goblet-shaped flowers, that become more star-shaped as they open. 花 appear before the foliage, making them particularly spectacular. Grow マグノリア x loebneri 「レナード・メッセル」 in full sun or partial shade, in a moist, well-drained soil. Little pruning is required – remove dead, damaged or diseased branches in midsummer. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
